January 2022 Revival Now Newsletter

I have never been as excited for a new year as I am for 2022! Pam and I are entering this new season fresh and focused for the Kingdom. Once again, the services we have been a part of throughout the Fall months have been marked with a distinct increase in the move of the Holy Spirit and we are believing for God’s power to increase more and more as we move further into 2022.

As many of you know, we were thrilled to be able to travel back to Kenya for the first time in two years to lead the Malava and the Kilgoris School of Ministry. We also took part in the graduation of Trans Africa Bible College where over 50 degrees and diplomas were handed out to students from across Kenya. These degrees are underwritten by Evangel Christian University of America, based in Monroe, Louisiana. We are happy to serve as one of the ECUA representatives for East Africa.

We were also honored to be able to visit the village of Navakholo, Kenya where we led a three-day conference sponsored by the Pentecostal Evangelistic Fellowship of Africa (PEFA). At the end of the first day, a gentleman stood and shared with the congregation that we were the first missionaries to ever set foot in Navakholo village, and they had been holding on to a prophetic word from years back that stated, “when the missionaries come, there will be a revival that will break forth that will impact the region with the Gospel!” We were so overwhelmed with that prophetic word that we were speechless! If for nothing else, the trip was Divinely orchestrated to encourage that village.

While in Kenya, we were able to visit Hope Centre Children’s Home in Nyangusu where our children are growing strong, and they have been greatly protected from the Covid-19 virus. In 2021 the boys were moved to the new dormitory and construction began on the Dining Hall that we are naming Memorial Hall. This building is in honor of the many saints who have passed on to heaven and who had a calling to the children of Africa on their lives. We have been struggling getting power restored to the neighborhood (due to thieves stealing the copper line that runs from the road) but because of the generosity of our partners we were able to install a solar power unit at the orphanage. The children are excited to have lights 24/7!

In February, Mike Joyner & I were scheduled to lead a team of pastors & their wives to Kenya for a special visit with Hope Centre. TSince we printed our hard copy newsletter, that trip has been postponed to a later date. Tim Williams, Jeremy Goodson & I will travel to Kenya in February to lead the Narok School of Ministry.

We will also continue traveling across the US in 2022 and into other countries as our schedule (and Covid protocols) allow for Sunday services and ministry campaigns.

Thank you to everyone who has faithfully stood with us in prayer and financial support during these last two very turbulent years. God has truly used you to encourage Pam and I to stay the course and remain focused on touching the nations He opens the doors for us in.
Also, thank you to everyone who sowed special seeds to Revival Now during the last few weeks of 2021. It has really helped position us for the coming year to be able to prepare for the upcoming Schools of Ministry, and the other international trips we are planning as the virus fear continues to dissipate and countries open their borders again.

In December we launched the Revival Now Kenya Church Network, a new church planting initiative that will help us plant more churches and pastors in the rural areas of Kenya who have taken part in the Kenya Schools of Ministry.
This is all accomplished by your generous and faithful giving.
