John 14:10 “Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words (Rhema) that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.”
We will never eradicate the corruption that is in our government until we eradicate the corruption that is in the church. Corruption will never be eradicated out of the church until it’s eradicated out of our own hearts. The biggest corruption we face as people of God in this hour is the corruption of our faith! Specifically, we have allowed the unbelief of the world and of people close to us to corrupt our faith.
Many people ridicule the faith message because they have seen some use it simply for excess, and others to manipulate an offering. Still others ridicule it because they tried it once and then decided it just didn’t work for them.
For others, faith has become a teaching some just believe and teach; but they have never allowed the message to produce a lifestyle change. I’m determined to have the lifestyle change that can only come by faith in God and His Word!! Faith is not something you do once and say, “That don’t work….let’s try something else….!!!! Faith is a way of life, not just a tool in our tool box! It’s not a magic bullet; it’s an operating system for every area of our lives
Just because you have faith, doesn’t mean bad things won’t happen to you. The facts are people with faith
Die
Get sick
Navigate job loss
Get a divorce
Cars have issues
Get persecuted
Stuff happens!
Jesus said it best: it Rains on the just & unjust, and the sun shines on the just and the unjust. Everything GOD does is by faith and with faith! God never responds to need. He only responds to faith!! Paul said plainly in Hebrews 11:6 “Without faith no one can please Him.” So, with faith and by faith…we CAN please Him. But without faith we never will. Recently the Lord woke me up and very clearly spoke in my inner man and whispered the three levels of faith:
Faith to start
Faith to endure
Faith to finish
1.Faith to start
Romans 12:3 “For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.”
This is what I call starting faith. Whether it’s beginning your walk with God, launching a new business, receiving the Holy Ghost, starting a new ministry, receiving healing or, believing for God to send a true earth-shaking revival…It takes faith to start! If you wait on the feeling the feeling may never come. When you step in faith, eventually, the feeling will come!
Go back and look at John 14:10 “The words (Rhema) that I speak to you I do not speak on My own authority; but the Father who dwells in Me does the works.”
“Words” as it’s used here in John 14:10 is the word Rhema. Rhema is simply a word, phrase or portion of scripture that is highlighted in your inner man by the Holy Spirit. I love the Rhema words when God brings them. I love them because they ALWAYS increase my faith!
What word has God highlighted to you recently? I know we can believe and stand on the written word, but when God speaks a Rhema word into your inner man, He does so with the intend of manifesting that word. Whatever happens in this new year of 2021, don’t let go of those words God has highlighted to you. These will be words to live by!
