One of the streams of ministry Revival Now operates in is with our Schools of Ministry. In April 2010, Revival Now planted the first School of Ministry in Kenya, known as the Maasai Vocational Training Centre. We began with 26 pastors & leaders, not realizing we were about to find the true purpose that God was calling us to. We met each April, August, and December during the Kenyan public school holidays.
In a very short time, the school expanded significantly, forcing us to find an alternative location for classes. This necessitated the name change to Revival Now School of Ministry. We planted two more campuses in Kenya, and attendance grew to over 1,000 leaders each time we met for class. Since 2011, we have graduated over 1600 pastors & leaders from across Kenya, as well as Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda; and each Sunday these leaders are impacting between 75,000 to 80,000 people with the Gospel. Most of these in the rural areas of East Africa.
We have faced numerous challenges with these schools, and we are currently in need of a significant increase to meet the operational costs and to respond to the demand for this training in Kenya, as well as in other countries around the world.
Now known as the Shepherd’s Hope Training Centre, with campuses in Kilgoris and Narok, Kenya, SHTC is a registered institution with TVET and listed on their website in Nairobi.
